Progressive Baptist Church's Website
One of the main goals of the Women's Auxiliary Mission Department of Progressive Baptist Church is to share the Good News of God's love with everyone. This goal is mainly achieved through Mission Education. As disciples of Christ, our Great Commission is "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."(Matthew 28:19-20)
We cannot teach Christ unless we know Christ. Our Mission Education teaches us about Christ. We teach that everyone in the church has a responsibility to learn as much about Christ as possible in order to develop a Christlike concern for everyone in the world.
