CHURCH OFFICERS

Rev. C. J. Bell has been the pastor of Progressive Baptist Church since 1965. Rev. Bell is a prominent member of the community. He serves as an active member on many boards in the community and throughout the state. Rev Bell is married to Mrs. Lillian Bell.

Mrs. Lillian Bell is the wife of Pastor C. J. Bell. She is a retired school teacher who still serves in the School System. Mrs. Bell is the Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher for Class No. 2(ages 11-adult), Vice-President of Women's Mission, and Mission Teacher. Mrs. Laura Hartman is the wife of Head Deacon Nathaniel Hartman. Mrs. Hartman is Progressive's Church Secretary, Programs Chairperson, and Mission Teacher. Mrs. Hartman has been a member of Progressive for 20 years. The Hartmans may be reached at (318)448-1864.

Mrs. Lillie Simmons is the widow of the late Deacon Sylvester Simmons Sr. Mrs. Simmons is the President of Women's Missionary Auxiliary and Mission Teacher. Mrs. Simmons has been a member of Progressive for over 25 years. She may be reached at (318)487-1440.

Nathaniel Hartman is the husband of Church Secretary Laura. Bro. Hartman is the Head Deacon, Preparer of the Lord's Supper, and general maintenance worker. He has been a member of Progressive for 20 years.

Charraye Pratt is the Assistant Sunday School Youth Director, Junior Deaconess in training, Lead Singer in Junior Choir, and Youth Sunday Devotion Coordinator.
